At Site Plus Electrical Solutions, I was given the opportunity to take the lead on this 6500 square foot stone palace. The level of detail and craftsmanship in this home is truly stunning.
This concrete-constructed home consists of 3 large bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 bars, a gym, spa room, and a massive garage. This residence has over 120 square trimless pot lights, 8 lit ceiling coves, and over 750ft of custom led tape lighting; controlled by a massive control4 low voltage lighting control system, along with several sensors and door switches for closets and pocket door lighting control.
During this build, I lead a crew of fellow journeymen and apprentices. Working closely with the general contractor and IT specialists, we brought this home up to the high expectations of out client. Some of the responsibilities related with this project included:
- Conducting and participating in meeting with the client, designers, and other contractors
- Procuring materials and taking inventory of supplies
- Keeping close track of material used on this project and writing up job sheets
- Designing and building unique control solutions for closet doors and pocket door areas - Working closely with framers, drywallers, and tapers to install trim-less lighting
- Coordinating with cabinet installers for cabinet lighting and led driver hiding spots
- Installing an emergency backup power generator
- Personally installed a majority of the buildings' electrical system
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, although a lot of the install was changed and coordinated on the spot
