At Panasonic Eco Solutions, our team and I wired over 10 ground mount solar farms, ranging from 200 to 500KW in power production. We were responsible for all wiring from the load side of the utility transformer all the way down to the connection of each solar panel. Here is a list of experience gained on site: - Performing daily safety meetings - Ordering and keeping stock of parts for each job - Reporting progress and details to management
- Meeting with inspectors and performing site walk throughs
- Meeting with engineers and performing commissioning of solar sites - Trenching underground TECK cables and PVC conduit - Terminating main service conductors at utility transformer - Building strut walls, mounting and wiring main disconnects, meter cabinets, load centers, SCADA systems, and customer metering equipment
- Installing steel wire cables and hangers - Mounting and wiring solar Inverters
- Installing liquid tight flex conduit
- Running wires for DC circuits and making connections to solar panels
- Bonding all metal parts of solar farms/installing main service grounds - Performing wire insulation, cross phase, and voltage testing
